UW Electrochemical Printing patent (#7,615,141) was issued...
Phase II SBIR is awarded ($500K, 24 months).
Ionographics, Inc. is a computer-aided electrochemical microfabrication technology company.
Starting from a computer-designed model of the desired feature to be built, our proprietary software translates motion control, fluidic, and power supply systems to generate the target pattern onto a working surface. Essentially any conductive material can be constructed onto any other conductive material, with nickel, copper, and gold being some our specialties.
Whether you have your own motion-fluid-power instrumentation which you want to enable, purchase a stand-alone system through our partnerships with vendors, or simply have a small number of parts built for rapid proof-of-concept tests of designs, we can work with you to provide access to the core technology. We call it Electrochemical Printing, or EcP.
